GREY WORLD

http://greyworld.org/

installations which respond to and interactive with humans
one of the reasons I choose to study design :)

"We often delight in the simple pleasure of picking up a stick and running it along a set of railings, making a lovely “clack-clack-clack” sound."

"greyworld tuned these railings so that when you ran a stick along them they played “The Girl from Ipanema.”
Created without permissions in cities around Europe, many versions have dissapeared. But some still remain.
To find them, all you need is a stick."

“In many ways Greyworld represents the shape of things to come. The hybrid mix of artist, designer, urban planner and musician, producing works that create spaces for play, fun and contemplation making manifest things which previously might only have been allowed space in the far corners of our imaginations.” Clive Gilman, Fact Centre, Liverpool.
